Depending on the season, ice coffee with soy milk and caramel syrup during the warmer months and hot chocolate made with soy milk and whip cream during the cooler months. But if I’m being honest, before I reach for either of these two, I always go for ice water first.

"What Skydiving Taught Me About Fear"

Will Smith tells the story of his personal skydiving experience in Dubai will make you want to overcome your biggest fears. I find myself thinking back to this interview a lot when I find myself at a crossroads either in my career or even in my personal life. His words help remind myself not to worry of something because the only thing worrying accomplishes is making you agonize about something twice. Everything up until, there is actually no reason to be scared.  And even if I am truly scared or worrying about something, I remind myself the best things in life on the other side of fear, so I need to overcome it, along the same lines as “high risk, high reward”.

Surround yourself with those you aspire to be like but also, surround yourself with those who bring out the best in you, not the stress in you. If you truly desire something, be it a particular job, a title promotion, or even something more personal, there is nothing that can hold you back from achieving it. It may not happen at the time you want, which I think is the most important aspect of this piece of advice and why people can often give up or change course, but don’t! For me, there hasn’t been anything that I intentionally set my mind towards that I have not achieved with the drive, focus, and commitment dedicated to it.
